Here's the SWS in its third reincarnation. I thought I was going to crochet a simple little poncho, but I can't find the last stitches on each "row" or when I try to compensate I end up over compensating. I think I'm gona rip it. Of course I am, it looks awlful. But the colors are really pretty and I didn't know there was the blush color in it till I was stitching it. And that's another thing, crochet jargon, I don't get it. I think I'm gona take a class.
Obligatory Cute Kid Picture.
Julia is doing smashingly crocheting away on little baby hats.
The other night when we were sitting at the table trying to figure crochet out I heard screeching tires and a big Boom. There had been a motorcycle accident on the street next to us. The bike rider had been injured but was alive. I didnt let the kids see the accident, but what a wonderful lesson "Wear your helmet if your gona be on a bike or better yet, stay off of motorcycles." (Yeah, I know that doesn't work.)
Kate was so cute retelling the tale. remeber shes almost four. "I was just sitting there, double crocheting and I heard this big noise." She was actually wrapping kitchen cotton over the hook over and over again "crocheting a sweater for Grace." :) So sweet.
