7 Random Facts about me
1. I also smell yarn.
2. Most people assume I have always been a crunchy granola homebirth mom. But actually my first child was born in a hospital via csection.
3. Before I moved to a very humid climate my hobby was raising bulbs.
4. I love Big Bend. www.virtualbigbend.com I own a red truck (so its easy to find in the desert if we ever get stranded), that has 4 wheel drive for offroading there. I would like to live there for a season of my life.
5. We live on the gulf coast, and I find great satisfaction in preparing for hurricanes every summer.
6. When I was growing up we had a cd player before we ever had a microwave.
7. My favorite book is "The Little Bulbs" it was printed in 1957. It is the correspondence of two gardners Mrs Lawrence and Mr Krippendorf through many seasons. He often sends her a new bulb or two. It reminds me of the friendships many of us make and are nourished by here as online knitters.
