Hey you guys,
During the move I threw out a lot of yarn a few WIPS that were never going to be right. The move taught me a lot about many things.
I learned that a UFO is usually UF for many reasons that I can not and will not resurrect it. And that keeping them around is only sucking energy from the room and from me every time I look at it and feel guilty about not finishing it, or starting it in the first place.
There are those that MUST and WILL be resurrected. Ive learned to be more selective about my projects and also realize that its ok to give up on some things for sanity's sake.
I also want to be a less is more yarn storer. My stash had turned into a mess that defied categories, and seeing it all smashed up together was just sad. I still have two LARGE plastic boxes full of said stash. But I think I am going to give most of it away.
So this year I'm still spending plenty of money! But Im trying to have some discipline. I'm doing a block of the month. Which is hard for me because I hate following other peoples rules. HA! I figured Ive got many points of discipline to work on in the rea of knitting.
Besides the first block I need to bind off (pic coming soon) I'm almost finished with a pair of baby booties.
miss yall. c
